April's Get Outdoors Challenge! We are keeping it simple this month. Spring is here, lakes and reservoirs are getting stocked by your state and it is the perfect time to get outside fishing. So that is your challenge this month, GO FISHING! If you are a parent reading this, your challenge is to take a kid fishing! Great news for most states you do not need a fishing license for your younger kids, just yourself. There are also free fishing days offered in every State. You can look up your State's fish and wildlife website to read all the regulations on fishing near you, get fishing reports, and find out about any free fishing days or derby's. These are great ways to get kids introduced into fishing and can offer lots of guidance on what kind of tackle you will need and where to go. Another great option for guidance is using the @gowildapp , you can download it for free to your phone and join a community of outdoorsman who love to help others. Ask all the questions you want and I guarantee you will find some great advice on what you need to know about fishing in your area.
